George Bernard Shaw
In case you've noticed, this little ole blog looks a smidge unfamiliar. I've been thinking about changing the name for some time now, but wanted to make sure it was the first and last time. That the name fit my blog and, more importantly, meant something. I hear, according to the unspoken laws of blogging, that you only get one chance to change your name . . . so you had better make it good. Or is that an urban legend?
Blogging is not a stationary process, and my name simply wasn't doing it for me anymore. I've found my voice. My writing is more consistent. I realize what topics I gravitate toward.
So, what's in a name? Mario dreamed up it up one night over our vacation. We were lying in bed and I was waxing about my lack of inspiration. After months of pondering potential names, and failing to find one that struck my fancy, this one was different. It kept resurfacing when I thought about renaming my corner of the internet. I guess you could say I warmed up to it. Thanks, Honey!
I write about my life. The changes it has undergone over the last year. The changes yet to come. Parenting. Marriage. Struggles. Fears. The times when my cup runneth over (which is the vast majority of the time).
My pursuit of unadulterated happiness and fulfillment.
I have a good life. Really good. Part of what makes it great is my willingness and ability to dig deep. To evolve. To change. I am always learning something new about myself and the world around me.
I'm living a life. Realized.
