I had to share this photo because it is proof that some of the best memories are those that happen by accident. I was drinking the Kool Aid yesterday and finally downloaded Instagram to my iPhone. I know, I'm WAY behind the times, but I figured I should check it out since it seems to be all the rage. I decided to test it out by snapping a quick, impromptu photo with my husband in our car while my son sat in the backseat. What was intended to be a disposable photo became one of my all-time favorites that I will treasure forever.
I am sure it is because we have not found a great photographer who really gets our quirkiness, but I have not been that thrilled with professional photos in the past. Instead, 90% of those that hang on our walls are randomly shot pics that captured that moment in time perfectly. Therefore, my personal philosophy is to take lots and lots of pictures using cameras, phones, iPads...whatever. Take them often and in unexpected places.
