How many slams in an old screen door?

Depends how loud you shut it.

How many slices in a bread?
Depends how thin you cut it.

How much good inside a day?
Depends how good you live 'em.

Shel Silverstein

This was a glass half full kinda week. Good things happened. Aside from a weird burst into tears out of sheer overwhelming-ness moment in the car last night, this gal is feeling fine. And thankful. I have it good. Even during the tough times. I never, ever take that for granted.

1// I attended my last two classes of the semester yesterday. I still have a lot of work to do before Tuesday when my finals are due, but the semester is over. I am coming back in the fall to take a single grad school requirement, but I will no longer be attending as an undergrad.
2// This stuff is magic. Honestly. I have tried every allergy medication out there... prescription and non-prescription. Nothing has helped with my debilitating eye allergies. For the first time in 5+ years, I am enjoying a misery-free spring.
3// My husband forgot he had these brand-spanking new aviators in his office? And didn't want them? Someone gave them to him years ago? Upon hearing my eye protection woes this week, he suddenly remembered. Now they are mine... and I couldn't love them more. Although I am a little nervous about scratching them. I usually buy Target sunglasses because I am prone to losing or breaking my eye wear. I'm being super careful, but one little scratch and these bad boys won't be the same. Any advice regarding the ownership of (expensive) mirrored lenses?
4// Fried pickles are the bee's knees. That is all.
5// I discussed this a few weeks ago, but I really have discovered hair happiness. Getting ready feels effortless for perhaps the first time. Finding the right products for my funky hair and irritable scalp, a longer length, and less futzing have all gotten me here. I should be taking notes.

Happy Friday!
