and try to keep it all the year.

My blog feed is chock full of
year-in-review and resolution posts, yet I am just getting around to
Christmas. I find this delay acceptable only because this particular
Christmas break is determined to stick around. A large winter storm
has provided a couple more blissful days spent as a family. I'm not
complaining; the ability to delay our return to real life is a gift.
Christmas
was mellow this year. There were less presents under the tree, yet the
holiday was decidedly more fulfilling. This was our first year getting
back to basics. Following a budget.
Excusing ourselves from the lunacy. Reflecting on that is a post in and
of itself. One which I will write about in the coming week.
In the meantime, here are just a few of the moments captured over the course of this rather lovely day.
I love the black and white pictures you included in this post. It gives me a "simple and classy" feel, which I think is what Christmas should be. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful Christmas my friend. Wishing you an amazing New Year!
